friday, in 4 low.

fryday night. its time to go out and get the truck dirty with tom. little did we know how muddy it would get.

we headed up and found a few people were already there. they had a fire going and were happy to let us chill. we hung out around the fire and shot some cans with the pellet gun.

then the trucking began..
the road in.

dood playing in a hole
the other guy had a 4runner on 33s. he was doing well in the mud, so it was time to rock my stock and get it muddy. this is what happened.

After playing in the mud, it was time for some trails.  i'd run the trail before, and it was just as fun this time.

Since it was pretty dark, not many good pictures were taken.  also, due to the darkness, i couldn't tell why my truck was making such a brutal noise.

in the morning it was time to check out the noises.

1) the exhaust was folded in half and jammed into the rear wheel.  thats weird, but not entirely surprising.
that is not how the exhaust is supposed to go
There was still water inside the truck, which is also not surprising.  it was pretty muddy and wet.
like i said, pretty muddy
the best way to remove the aweful sound from the truck was with a saws-all.  case in point... the last 18 inches of the exhaust pipe, the front skid plate, and part of a pallet.  all once part of the truck.  now no longer.
that triangle was the skid plate.  it was a rectangle before.
overall, it was a sweet trip.  met some new people, got the truck dirty and got to run a sweet trail.  can't wait to do it again.
