back to the bush

what to do this weekend? how about go help out a buddy up in the bush? ok. so friday we headed up into the snow zone in mary's sweet 4x4. nothing could stop us!

we got up there friday about 9pm.  the road was passable and not nearly as bad as everyone we met thought it was. we met up with our buddy right away and got to it.

in the morning the weather was a bit cloudy, but when the sun came out it was glorious.  The three of us chilled around the grounds for a bit before starting our firewood mission.

then we piled into and onto the tractor and headed out in search of wood.  there was lots.  we came back empty somehow.

we tried to get some firewood off the lake.  no dice.  will get it in summer i guess..

not really sure how to describe this one.  it made sense in our minds at the time.

after all the hard "work" of the day, it was well past time to relax.  so we did.   wow... did we ever.

the weekend was a raging success.  can;t wait until the next big adventure.  may long for sure.... maybe sooner.  you in?
