a cruise with brian

saturday my buddy brian was back in town for a bit. no way i was going to let him leave before he rode shotgun on an adventure.

looking down to kelowna

We started up mccollough rd and onto the kettle valley railway.  some parts you can't drive on (it's a park) but this part you could.
tamarack needles made it a yellow brick road.
We drove around and ended up at the forestry site at browne lake.  a small spot on a small quiet lake.

friends, fire and 4x4.  what else do you need?

the creek feeding into browne lake
as usual, backroads map books rode along
by the time we headed down, it was dark, but we still decided to explore a trail around the lake.  got a little tight in spots, but a sweet new route for me and a chance to try out the newly mounted piaa lights.

getting tighter in the dark.

next weekend got a sweet adventure planned. let me know if you want in.
