last weekend of fishing without an auger

remembrance day. that means, remember to go fishing and stuff.  6 of us headed up to one of our favourite spots to visit jordie and make the most of the last weekend before freeze up.

we didn't waste much time on the way up.   the only stop was the lookout, and that's never a waste.

within 10 minutes we were unpacked and on the boat fishing.  we didnlt catch anything, but who cares?

we stopped at a cool spot on the lake to check out a sweet cabin and hammock.  wes took full advantage of the hammock

we got a great tour of the lake and got to get our hooks wet.  next time we see this lake, we'll be ice fishing on it.

then it was back to base camp for a fire and beverages before bed.

we got to experience the 1st snowfall of the season up close and personal.  whatever.  had to come eventually.

we messed around for the day, and just before we left we got the visit from an 71 el camino.  cool.

another great trip in the books.  looks like the next one might have snow.  we're all ok with that.
