saturday. Time to get adventury. Louie, mary and i got in truck 3 and off we went in search of cool times.
It started with a drive along the KVR north from the trestles. This is a part that it's ok to drive on. the snow was long gone, but a few big (2 feet deep) puddles remained. didn't even need 4wd.

choo-choo along the kvr |
since it was a glorious weekend it was pretty busy in the bush, looks like may long will be even busier.
We got out at browne lake. not the first time i've been there, but was a first for our collective group of 3.

browne lake. looks blue from far away |
we set up the usual. pellet guns, fire, army men, hotdogs, beverages, fishing rods. Didn't take long before we were into all of it.
|
what else do we need?? nothing. |
louie was the usual fire master, and this was one of his most effective ones. roaring right away. zero fire to hero fine in less than 2 minutes.
|
our spot |
right when we were getting ready to leave, a '68 cougar came ripping by. managed to get an shot of this elusive beast in it's natural habitat.
