Met up with some of the usual gang for another adventure. It started off pulling a guy out of the ditch by the airport. it was pretty funny and i ended up dragging him 100 yards through the ditch before he finally turned his wheels the right way. his oil pan is probably still in the ditch.

then we hit the gravel, or actually snow, and 2nd corner we come aross this sweet gto with a 455. pretty cool.
we explored around on a few new roads, but the recent dump of snow limited some of our options.
we ended up in a sweet spot just off postil road, and were joined by 2 other vehicles when they realized their subaru wasn't going any further.
we got some firewood and got the fire and the beam machine going. first run on the beam machine with the new chainsaw.

the boards came home with us, but not before we used them as benches (and thermos rests, bbq sauce holders and flask stands) around the fire.
It was a pretty sweet day. we didn't need to log tons of km's to make a good time.

once the sun started setting, it was time to head back. it was great to bring norm with us and meet a few new people as well. the tow strap got a workout and the new saw worked awesome.
