Up into the bush we went. stopping for some goats and that's about it until we reached the destination.
The canoe was unloaded and between the trucks and the canoe, all 9 of us, a dog, and all the gear got across or around the lake and it was time to have a time.
The cabin was how we remembered it. It was still early, so we got comfortable and really dug in.
We were out for 3 days, and a lot of stuff happened. stuff like this...
Kris climber a tree. a really big one.
kris in the tree |
The trail got a work out. it's muddy. we did a little maintenance to it with a few loads of sand, and that certainly helped.
beer going for a trail ride. it stayed on surprisingly long |
Army men and pellet guns, as usual. a few survivors stayed behind. if you're in the cabin, they'll be watching you.
fall back men!! |
Chilling out. lots of that. and fires. lots of those.
steve taking care of it |
fire beats rain |
Inside stuff. poker got played. Rory and I made some epic candles. now we've got a system.
More outside stuff
A porsche drove by |
chris and the best smokie of them all |
monday morning awesome |
While there was indeed a cabin, a few of us chose to tent it. an excellent option i think.
it's home |
And of course, it was over eventually. chris and anna paddled the canoe cross and the rest took the bumpy way. another great time had by all.
bye bye |
