saturday is here. what to do? a few options presented themselves, and we ended up in the truck heading up beaver lake road. knowing the rec sites would all be pretty crazy busy, we headed up a little trail towards some of the more little known rec sites. they were busy too. but we stayed anyway.

flyfish lakes #2 |
we hiked around the lake a bit and then commenced setting about the place. out came the pellet guns, the army guys, and the food and beverages. louie got the fire ripping like a champ.

After everything, it was time for more. we hopped in the truck and continued down the trail. i'd run it before but it extra wet and a but rougher in some spots than previous times. in a good way.

the trail got a bit rough |
After a few large puddles, the truck decided that it didn't want to drive out of one. we weren't stuck, we just weren't driving. what to do? how about change the distributor cap? gotta start somewhere, and i got a spare one in the back.
|
ummmmmm....? |
15 minutes later, the new cap was on and we were off. started like a charm. water and distributors don't mix. just saying.
|
new distributor cap. sorry for the blur, the engine was running. |
I hope your saturday was just as awesome. if not, let me know and we'll make the next one awesome.
