short test run with pellet guns

Changed the rear leaf shackles on truck 3 in hopes of fixing some of the rear end sag.  Patrick came over and gave me a hand.  then it was time for a short rip up some trails off beaver lake road to test them out.  here are the pictures.

the only puddle.

we followed some old roads i'd never been on before.  the first ended in a big dead tree.  no road at all on the other side, just a land slide area at the bottom of wrinkly face cliffs.  we hung out here for a bit.

the end
Since we were stopped, why not break out the army men and the pellet gun.  ok.

Got this picture of an old Toyota 2000 GT that was burning up the bark.

Since this was just a test run, it was time to get back to the testing and running.  a tight turn around then back down the trail.

We messed around on a few more small offroads, but each time got turned around by some massive tree or something.  it was a good way to spend a sunny afternoon.

and the shjackles worked well.  no more bottoming out the rear end.  not sure about the life of the springs though.  they're next.
