So many good mines around, we (jeff and i) had to find and explore at least 1 more. This one is called the white elephant mine, near fintry on west side road.

It was raining a bit, and the mine wasn't as cool as others we found, but the trip was still a raging success. The road was sometimes a mystery, but we kept heading for the dot an the gps and eventually we got there.

No tunnels to explore, but lots of cool rocks and old foundations around. also lots of redneck shacks.

Good day Ryan.. we went up there white elephant last weekend but only found some concrete footings from a old building by the road.. then found fresh bear scat so we left... Is the mine further up the road past the park park poundry sign? Would appreciate some help.. thanks
